Subject: KFlop suitable for Soprel PWME140X1428 drives?

Hi All,

I have to convert a large flatbed router to Mach3. It is one of those routers with a million different spindles used to make kitchen cabinets, etc. The drives are made by Soprel. The model number is PWME140X1428.

I don't have the manual for the drives, so if anyone does I'd be grateful for a copy.

I've got the wiring schematics for the router controller though. It appears that the drives are controlled with a +/-10V analog input. This is where the KFlop comes in.

I'm new to the KFLop but from my investigations it is capable of driving such drives. Is this correct?

Also how difficult is it to set up for analog drives?

Cheers,

Peter

i have those drives in my machines- you wont find any info on them but they only require +/- 10v. (dont adjust any of the pots on them)
they run in torque mode. (encoders fed to control only)
soprel was bought out by control techniques i believe.
is it an old biesse your going to convert?
